⁹ Since considerable time had passed and the voyage was already dangerous because the Fast^[a] had already gone by, Paul kept warning them, ¹⁰ telling them, “Men, I can see that the voyage is about to end in disaster and great loss—not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives!”

¹¹ But the centurion was persuaded more by the pilot and the captain of the ship than by what was said by Paul.
